Private cooking lessons

     I will work one on one with you, sharing my breadth of healthful cooking knowhow and techniques, guiding you in putting them to practical use in your own home. Day in and day out- year after year - each time I have stepped in the kitchen, I have learned something new about how to optimize the flavors and textures of foods, coaxing out the best that each ingredient has to offer. Nothing lights my fire more than passing this wisdom on to others! My cuisine focuses on what I believe to be the main hallmarks for a health-supportive diet : eliminating processed foods and focusing on natural ingredients. I base my cooking on a plethora of organic and local (whenever possible) vegetables and fruits, organic and pasture raised/wild meats and fish, and healthful fats.

     Before our lesson, we will have an extensive conversation about your food likes and dislikes, preferred eating styles and any specific techniques or recipes you might want to learn. I’ll then come up with a flavor-packed menu for our session, based on what I’ve learned from you and what you would like to get out of our time in the kitchen together. Please contact me directly for inquiries and pricing.  Lessons are a minimum of 2 hours and can take place in your kitchen or in my own kitchen in the Lower Hudson Valley (group lessons are also available).
